Daily Maintenance Of Desulfurization Pump

Daily Maintenance Of Desulfurization Pump 1

The desulfurization pump is a cantilever single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump, which is specially designed and developed for conveying corrosive media containing fine particles. The pump is made of steel-lined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE), which is the current generation of corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant engineering plastics for pumps. Its most outstanding advantage is that it has the best wear resistance, impact resistance (especially low-temperature impact resistance), creep resistance (environmental stress cracking resistance) and corrosion resistance among all plastics. In order for the desulfurization pump to operate safely and have a long service life, it is necessary to pay attention to daily maintenance. The following aspects should be paid attention to during maintenance: 1. Maintenance of shaft seal The packing shaft seal pump should regularly check the sealing water pressure and water volume, always keep a small amount of clean water flowing along the shaft, regularly adjust the packing gland, check the packing and replace the packing regularly, and the shaft seal water pressure and shaft seal water volume should meet the above (shaft seal inspection) requirements. 2. Impeller adjustment: In order to ensure the operation of the pump, the gap between the impeller and the front guard must be adjusted in time. When adjusting the impeller gap, stop the pump first, loosen the bolts that hold the bearing box, loosen the adjustment nut, move the bearing assembly forward, and turn the shaft by hand in the direction of the pump until the impeller and the front guard rub against each other. The desulfurization pump uses the adjustment bolt to move the rotor backward, record the front and rear movement gaps, and evenly distribute them between the front and rear guards of the impeller until the gaps between the impeller and the front and rear guards are equal. Tighten the two dust disks and fasten them to the shaft. After adjustment, check whether the impeller rotates normally and whether the bearing assembly compression bolts are tightened before starting again, and then start the pump. 3. Bearing lubrication: When the bearing assembly is assembled correctly, the lubricant is appropriate, and the maintenance is timely, the transportation life will be longer. The maintenance personnel should regularly inspect the bearing assembly, check the condition of the bearing and lubricant, and regularly add or replace lubricant during operation. The interval time and the amount of injection are related to many factors such as the pump speed, bearing specifications, continuous working time, pump shutdown times, ambient environment and operating temperature. Therefore, it is necessary to gradually accumulate experience and add lubricant reasonably and timely. 4. The spare desulfurization pump should rotate the shaft 1/4 turn every week to allow the bearing to evenly bear the static load and external vibration.
