1
What materials are available for the AH Series Slurry Pump?
The AH Series Slurry Pump is available with high-chrome alloy metal liners or rubber liners, allowing selection based on abrasion or corrosion conditions.
2
Can the AH Series Slurry Pump replace Warman® AH pumps?
Yes, the AH Series Slurry Pump is fully interchangeable with Warman® AH pumps in terms of dimensions and performance.
3
What information is required to select a TC non-clog vortex pump?
 For accurate selection, please provide:
  • Required flow rate (m³/h)

  • Total head (m)

  • Slurry type and solids concentration

  • Maximum particle size

  • Installation type (horizontal or vertical)

  • Operating temperature

4
Are TC non-clog vortex pumps metal-lined or rubber-lined?

TC series pumps feature an unlined, all-metal wet end, making them suitable for:

High-temperature applications

Slurries with sharp or irregular solids

Heavy-duty industrial duties requiring structural robustness

5
Why are vortex pumps less prone to clogging?

TC vortex pumps minimize clogging due to:1.A recessed impeller positioned outside the main flow path 2.A large-volume casing with low internal velocities 3.Equal inlet and outlet sizes, reducing restriction points 4.Solids being carried mainly by vortex flow rather than direct impeller contact

6
What is the main difference between a TC vortex pump and a conventional slurry pump?

The key difference lies in how energy is transferred to the slurry:

  • Conventional slurry pumps use direct impeller contact, offering higher efficiency but higher risks of clogging and particle breakage.

  • TC vortex pumps rely on vortex energy transfer, with minimal impeller–particle contact, making them ideal for large or fragile solids.

7
What is a non-clog vortex pump?
A non-clog vortex pump is a centrifugal pump designed with a recessed impeller. Instead of directly pushing the slurry, the impeller generates an internal vortex that transfers energy to the medium indirectly. This design significantly reduces clogging and particle damage.
8
The slurry pump does not prime / no suction

Possible Causes:

  • Air leaks in the suction pipeline or packing area

  • Incorrect rotation direction or damaged impeller

  • Blockage in the suction pipe

Solutions:

  • Seal the leaking points

  • Check and correct the rotation direction

  • Replace the impeller

  • Remove blockages
