Dredger pump is a kind of high-efficiency centrifugal sediment pump used for underwater dredging operation, which is widely used in river dredging, harbor dredging, marine sand mining, and land reclamation projects.

1. Structural characteristics

The dredger pump adopts high flow rate and high head design to ensure long-distance conveying capacity. Its pump casing, impeller are usually made of high chromium alloy or super wear-resistant materials to resist high abrasive media. The impeller is generally of open or semi-open design to ensure large particle passing capacity and reduce the risk of clogging. In addition, the shaft sealing system of dredge pumps adopts gland seals, mechanical seals or expeller seals to prevent sediment from entering the bearing cavity and improve equipment life.
