Because the properties, pressure and flow of the liquid transported in chemical production vary greatly, in order to get used to various different requirements, the types of centrifugal pumps planned for production are also diverse.Due to the differences in liquid transport, according to the nature of the pumping liquid, it can be divided into water pumps, corrosion-resistant pumps, oil pumps and impurity pumps, etc.; according to the structure of the impeller, it can be divided into open, semi-open and closed pumps, and according to the impeller suction method, it can be divided into single suction pumps and double suction pumps; according to the number of impellers, it can be divided into single-stage pumps (such as: ISG vertical pipeline centrifugal pumps, ISW horizontal centrifugal pumps, IS with coupling centrifugal pumps, IH chemical centrifugal pumps, etc.) and multi-stage pumps (such as D-type multi-stage centrifugal pumps, DL vertical multi-stage centrifugal pumps, GDL vertical multi-stage pipeline centrifugal pumps, CDLF vertical stainless steel multi-stage centrifugal pumps, etc.).Various types of centrifugal pumps are each in a series according to their structural characteristics, and use one or several Chinese pinyin letters as the series code.In each series, different letters and numbers are attached to each other because of the various specifications.The following brief description of the types of centrifugal pumps commonly used in chemical plants.1) Water pump (type B, type D, Sh) Any water pump can be used to transport clean water and clean liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water.Type B water pump is the code name of a single-stage single-suction cantilever centrifugal water pump and is widely used. Its structure is shown in Figure 2\u0026mdash;24.The pump body and pump cover of this kind are made of cast iron.The head size of the entire series is 8 to 98m and the flow scale is 4.5 to 360m3/h.If the required pressure head is high and the flow rate is not too large, a multi-stage pump can be used.As shown in Figure 2\u0026mdash;25, multiple impellers are connected in series on a shaft. The liquid from one impeller leads the liquid to change the flow direction through the guide wheel in the pump casing, and converts part of the kinetic energy into static pressure energy, and then enters the population of the next impeller. Because the liquid receives energy from several impellers, it can reach a higher pressure head.The series code of domestic multi-stage pumps is D, which is called D-type centrifugal pumps.The impeller series is generally 2 to 9 levels, and most of them are 12 levels.The entire series of head size is 14~351m and the flow rate is 10.8~850m3/h.If the flow rate of the liquid is large and the required pressure head is not high, a dual suction pump can be used.The impeller of the double suction pump has two suction inlets, as shown in Figure 2-26.Because the ratio of width to diameter of the double suction pump impeller is larger and there are two populations, the infusion volume is relatively large.The series code of domestic dual suction pumps is Sh, the full series head size is 9140m, and the flow rate is 12012 500m3/h.2) Corrosion-resistant pump (F type) When transporting corrosive liquids such as acid and alkali, corrosion-resistant pumps should be used. The primary feature of this pump is that the pump parts touching the liquid are made of corrosion-resistant materials.The corrosion-resistant pumps made by various data are fundamentally the same in structure, so F is used as its series code.Add a letter to F to indicate the data code to indicate the difference.Another feature of corrosion-resistant pumps is their high sealing requirements.Because the problem of corrosion of the filler itself is difficult to solve, F-type pumps mostly use mechanical sealing equipment.The head size of the F-type pump series is 15-105m and the flow rate is 2-400m3/h.3) Oil pump (Y-type) The pump that transports petroleum products is called an oil pump.The characteristics of oil products are flammable and explosive, so an important requirement for oil pumps is to improve sealing.When transporting oil crystals above 200°C, excellent cooling of shaft seal equipment and bearings is also required, so these components are often equipped with cooling water jackets.The series code of domestic oil pumps is Y, with single and double suction, single-stage and multi-stage (2-stage 6) oil pumps. The head size of the entire series is 60603m and the flow scale is 6.25~500m3/h.4) Impurity pump (P type) Impurity pumps are used to transport suspensions and thick slurries, etc. The series code is P, and are further divided into sewage pump PW, sand pump PS, mud pump PN, etc.The requirements for this type of pump are: it is not easy to be blocked by impurities, it is wear-resistant, and easy to remove and wash. Its characteristic is that the impeller is wide in a row and has a small number of blades. Semi-closed or open impellers are often used.Some pump housings are lined with wear-resistant cast steel guard plates.In order to facilitate selection, the production department of centrifugal pumps sometimes draws a series of characteristic curves of the same type of pump, and draws a section of H\u0026mdash;Q curve corresponding to the higher power scale on a general chart.Figure 2-27 is the series characteristic curve diagram of the B-type water pump.In the figure, the arc line above the fan surface represents the fundamental type, and the arc line below represents the type A whose diameter is one order smaller than the fundamental type.If there are three arc lines on the fan surface, the arc line in the middle represents type A, and the arc line at the bottom represents type B whose diameter is one level smaller than the fundamental type.
