1. Select flow and head according to actual conditions 

In the selection of slurry pumps, misunderstandings often arise. Many users only pay attention to the flow rate of the pump, but ignore the head selection of the pump, and even believe that the higher the head, the safer it is. Therefore, the selected head is greater than the actual head demand, resulting in a lot of waste of electricity.In fact, the pump can be selected based on the actual flow rate and pulp conditions to reduce the installed number and save electricity.It is worth noting that when calculating the head, the head loss should be considered to avoid insufficient head and affecting the conveying efficiency.

2. The power of the motor and the pump should be reasonably matched. The unreasonable matching of the power of the motor and the pump is mainly reflected in two aspects: "Big cow pulls a small plow" and "Caul pulls a large plow".This leads to a lot of waste of electricity. If a smaller motor power is chosen, i.e., "Calve pulls a big plow", it will lead to insufficient water output of the pump, overload the motor or not moving the slurry pump at all, which will not ensure the normal and stable operation of the pump.Therefore, the power of the motor and the pump should be reasonably matched to achieve the ideal effect.
