In order to extend the service life of the slurry pump, we need to strengthen its daily maintenance.Since some of its parts are consumable parts, the wear of the consumable parts must be carefully observed during use and repair or replace them in time. The consumable parts are maintained, and the pump body is really worry-free. 1. The pump shell is generally cast iron, which is susceptible to mechanical or thermal stress and is not easy to break. When the mud pump freezes due to cavitation during work or the water from the pump shell is not released in winter, it is also easy to break. If the damage is too large and cannot be repaired, a new pump shell should be replaced.2. The pump shaft is usually made of carbon steel, but it is easily damaged due to the quality of manufacturing, use or installation. The pump shaft may have cracks, bends, wear of the journal, and damage to the threads. It may also cause a fracture accident. In case of serious damage, do not replace the shaft.3. The impeller of the slurry pump is an important working part and is made of cast iron.It is also easy to damage due to manufacturing quality and use reasons, the impeller may have cracks, and due to cavitation, the surface of the impeller may appear dents or perforations, and the blades will become thinner or eccentricly worn for a long time, or even be damaged by debris. Some defects can be repaired, and some defects cannot be repaired, that is, a new impeller should be replaced.4. The bearing bushing of the sliding bearing is made of copper-tin alloy, with poor wear resistance and is one of the easily wearable parts that are easy to wear and flammable.Usually, bearing bushings can be repaired or replaced with new ones, and the average service life of rolling bearings is 5000 hours, but they are prone to wear or damage due to improper installation, long service life or poor maintenance. In addition to replacing the parts of the rolling bearing with new parts, the overall parts usually need to be replaced.5. The oral ring is also called a ring that reduces leakage or wear. It is one of the components that are prone to wear.Wear can be repaired or replaced with a new one. After replacing the new leakage reduction ring, its inner diameter should be configured according to the outer diameter of the impeller inlet. If the outer diameter of the impeller inlet is worn, it can be rotated to eliminate groove marks and ovals, and then a leak reduction ring with reduced inner diameter is configured.6. When using filler sealing gasket, the filler will harden for a long time and lose elasticity, which will cause the slurry pump to leak air and water.Usually, new packaging should be replaced.7. Oil seals are rubber products that are prone to wear and aging, and generally require new parts to be replaced.
The horizontal wear-resistant slurry pump adds a self-priming tank, so that the inlet of the slurry pump is connected to the bottom of the self-priming tank, and the top of the self-priming tank is connected to the suction tube and the suction tank. Before the slurry pump is started, the self-priming tank will be filled with clear water or slurry. After starting, some of the liquid in the tank will be discharged. Because the self-priming tank is an airtight container, the discharge of the slurry will form a certain vacuum. At this time, the atmospheric pressure will press the slurry in the slurry tank into the self-priming tank to form a circulation. At this time, it is necessary to note that the liquid level in the self-priming tank should be higher than the liquid level of the suction port of the slurry pump, which has achieved the purpose of providing slurry to the slurry pump, so as to ensure that the slurry pump can operate normally and continuously, and the slurry in the slurry tank is emptied by the upsuspended function of the slurry pump. After the use of the slurry pump is suspended, the pump and the self-priming tank need to be backflushed with a flushing water pipe. This is to prevent the deposition of slurry in the slurry pump and the self-priming tank. If the slurry pump is started again, the liquid level in the self-priming tank is always higher than the inlet of the slurry pump, and there is no need to pour the pump, and it can be started.Axial seal part: 1. Sub-impeller shaft seal: The impeller is acted by a reverse centrifugal force to prevent leakage of the slurry. When the positive pressure value of the pump inlet is not greater than 10% of the pump outlet pressure value, a single-stage pump or a multi-stage first-stage pump in series can be used for secondary impeller shaft sealing. The secondary impeller shaft seal does not require shaft sealing water, does not dilute the ore slurry, and the shaft sealing effect is good.It can be used when the slurry is not allowed to be diluted.2. Packing shaft seal: Packing shaft seal is the most common type of seal. It has a simple structure, is convenient for maintenance and is cheap, but it must use shaft seal water. For working conditions that are not suitable for use with secondary impeller shaft seals, filler shaft seals can be used.3. Mechanical seal: Mechanical seals are generally used when sealing requirements are relatively high, especially in the chemical industry. Not only does the slurry not leak, but it is also not allowed to enter the pump body. The disadvantage of mechanical seals is that they are costly and difficult to maintain.Transmission part: The horizontal wear-resistant slurry pumps all use the same series of transmission parts, including brackets and bearing components. The pump shaft has a large diameter, good rigidity, short cantilever, and will not bending or vibrate under harsh working conditions. The bearing uses heavy-duty single-row or double-row tapered roller bearings and cylindrical roller bearings according to the different power transmitted, which can withstand the maximum axial and radial loads of the pump. The bearing is lubricated with grease, and there are sealed end covers, labyrinth sleeves and labyrinth rings at both ends, which can effectively prevent ore slurry and other dirt from entering the bearing, ensuring the safe operation of the bearing and having a high life.
