The bearing assembly of a slurry pump usually consists of the following components

Slurry Pump Bearing Assembly Labyrinth : used to seal both ends of the bearing to prevent grease leakage and debris from entering.

Slurry Pump Bearing Assembly Lubrication Method

The bearing assembly is usually lubricated by adding grease. The amount of grease added varies according to the base type, for example:
Small base (such as B type): 30 grams of grease is required at the drive end and the pump end.
Large base (such as T type): 1150 grams of grease is required at the drive end and 2300 grams of grease is required at the pump end.

Slurry Pump Bearing Assembly Installation and maintenance

Installation: Preheat the inner ring of the bearing during assembly, the temperature should not exceed 120℃, and ensure that the inner ring is close to the shaft shoulder or grease retainer.
Adjustment: For single-row tapered roller bearings, the axial clearance needs to be ensured by adjusting the gasket at the end cover.
Maintenance: Check the amount of grease regularly, add or replace it in time to ensure the integrity of the sealing device
