40PV-SP Vertical Sump Slurry Pump Introduction

To meet special installation and operating environments, this series is designed as a vertical centrifugal sump slurry pump, capable of working while submerged. It requires no shaft seal or shaft seal water and can still operate normally even under insufficient suction conditions. This series adopts a single-casing structure, featuring light weight, compact size, and convenient installation and maintenance.

It is mainly used for conveying corrosive slurries with coarse particles and high concentrations. The pump is widely applied in mineral processing, metallurgy, coal, power plants, building materials, environmental protection, and other industries.

Start-up Precautions for 40PV-SP Vertical Sump Slurry Pump

1. Before installing the coupling or belt, check whether the rotation direction of the driver is correct. Viewed from the drive end, the pump rotates clockwise. Reverse rotation is strictly prohibited, as it may cause personal injury and equipment damage.

2. The pump must not operate for a long time at low flow or zero flow conditions. Otherwise, it may cause pump unit vibration or even liquid vaporization, resulting in personal injury or equipment damage.

3. The pump is a rotating machine. Power supply must be disconnected before installation or maintenance. Otherwise, personal injury may occur.

4. When the pump unit is running, it is strictly forbidden to put hands into or remove the protective cover, otherwise personal injury may occur.

The pump body of the 40PV-SP sump slurry pump is made of wear-resistant metal. According to the slurry tank liquid level, pump drive shafts and suction pipes of different lengths can be selected. Multiple speeds and different variations are available to ensure that the pump always operates under optimal working conditions.
