Metal material:

High chromium alloy: It has extremely high hardness and wear resistance, and can resist the wear of most abrasive media. The chromium content in high chromium alloys is usually above 25%, which can form a hard chromium carbide protective layer and improve the material's wear resistance. In mining, metallurgy and other industries, when transporting slurry containing high-hardness ore particles, slurry pumps made of high chromium alloy are often used.

Duplex stainless steel: has good corrosion resistance and certain wear resistance. The ferrite and austenite phase structures in duplex stainless steel make it resistant to corrosion, but also have high strength and toughness, and can withstand a certain degree of wear. For example, in the fields of chemical industry, marine and other fields, when transporting corrosive abrasive media, a slurry pump made of duplex stainless steel can be considered.

Manganese steel: has high hardness and strength, and is relatively low in price. The manganese element in manganese steel can improve the hardness and wear resistance of the material, but the wear rate may be faster when facing high hardness abrasive particles. In some operating conditions where cost requirements are high and wear is relatively light, a slurry pump made of manganese steel can be selected.

Rubber material:

Natural rubber: has good elasticity and wear resistance, and has good adaptability to some abrasive media with low concentration and low hardness. Natural rubber has relatively weak corrosion resistance and needs to be carefully selected when facing corrosive media. For example, when transporting river water containing a small amount of silt, a natural rubber-lined slurry pump may be used.

Synthetic rubber: such as polyurethane rubber, nitrile rubber, etc. Synthetic rubber can be customized according to different working conditions and has better wear resistance, corrosion resistance and aging resistance. For example, polyurethane rubber has extremely high wear resistance and strength, and is suitable for transporting abrasive slurries with high concentration and high hardness; nitrile rubber has good oil resistance and wear resistance, and is suitable for transporting abrasive media containing oily substances.

Ceramic material:

Alumina ceramics: high hardness, good wear resistance, excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. Alumina ceramics can be made into ceramic linings or ceramic impellers and other components to improve the wear resistance of the slurry pump. For example, under some high temperature, high corrosion, and high wear conditions, such as glass manufacturing, cement production and other industries, slurry pumps with alumina ceramic lining can be used.

Silicon carbide ceramics: It has higher hardness and wear resistance, and is more resistant to high-speed erosion and strong wear than alumina ceramics. Silicon carbide ceramics have very good corrosion resistance and are suitable for conveying highly corrosive abrasive media. For example, in chemical industry, pharmaceutical and other industries, when transporting abrasive slurry containing strong acids and strong alkalis, a slurry pump made of silicon carbide ceramic material can be considered.
