Impeller Adjustment for Slurry Pump with Mechanical Seal

(1) Place the mechanical seal limited plate into the slot;

(2) Loosen the mechanical seal locking bolts;

(3) Adjust the impeller clearance: Loosen the clamp bolt on the bearing assembly and use the adjustment screw to move the bearing assembly forward. At the same time, rotating the shaft clockwise until the impeller contacts the volute liner, and tighten the nut at the front end by adjusting the screw to move the bearing assembly backward, so that the clearance between the impeller and the volute liner will be within the range of 0.5-1 mm;

(4) Tighten the mechanical seal locking bolts.

(5) Pull out the mechanical seal limited plate.
