  3. Ensure the coaxiality between the motor and the pump, ensure that the elastic pad in the coupling is complete and correct, and should be replaced in time after damage.

  4. Ensure that the pump components and pipeline systems are installed correctly, firmly and reliably.

  5. Some components are consumable parts. In daily use, pay attention to the loss of consumable parts and repair or replace them in a timely manner. During the repair or replacement of consumable parts, it is necessary to ensure that the assembly is correct, the clearance is adjusted reasonably, and to avoid the occurrence of tight friction.

  6. The suction pipeline system must be free of air leakage. At the same time, pay attention to whether the suction inlet is blocked during operation. The medium required for the slurry pump is mostly solid particles, so the barrier placed in the pump tank should meet the requirements of the particles that can pass through, reducing the possibility of excessively large particles or long fiber materials entering the pump body and causing clogging.

  3. Installation and use knowledge

  Slurry pumps are widely used in chemical industries such as petrochemicals, coal chemicals, etc., transport liquids of different properties and provide the pressure and flow rate required for chemical reactions. There are many types, and according to the properties of the conveying medium, they can be divided into acid pumps, alkali pumps, clean water pumps, mud pumps, etc. The working temperature and working pressure of the conveying medium are different, so it effectively extends the service cycle and reduces the amount of maintenance, which plays a great role in improving the economic benefits of the factory.

  1. Selection and installation

  The slurry pump should be selected according to the liquid conveyed, and the required performance should be checked, the suction and discharge conditions should be analyzed, whether it is intermittent or continuous operation, etc. Usually operated under pressure and flow conditions close to the manufacturer's design. The following review should be conducted during installation:

  (1) The size, position and elevation of the foundation should meet the design requirements, the anchor bolts must be properly and correctly fixed in the concrete foundation, and the machine should not have any missing parts, damage or rust;

  (2) According to the characteristics of the conveyed medium, the materials of the main parts, shaft seals and gaskets should be checked if necessary;

  (3) The correcting work should comply with the provisions of the equipment technical documents. If there is no provision, it should comply with the provisions of the current national standard "General Specifications for the Construction and Acceptance of Mechanical Equipment Installation Projects";

  (4) All pipelines connected to the slurry pump body, pipe fittings, and the cleaning requirements of lubricating oil pipelines should comply with the provisions of relevant national standards.

  2. Use

  The trial operation of the pump should meet the following requirements:

  (1) The steering of the drive machine should be the same as that of the pump;

  (2) Inspect the steering of the pipeline pump and the coaxial pump;

  (3) The fixed connection parts should not be loose, and the specifications and quantity of lubricant added to each lubricating part should comply with the provisions of the equipment technical documents;

  (4) Parts with prelubricating requirements should be prelubricated in accordance with the regulations;

  (5) Each indicator instrument should be installed. The full protection device should be sensitive, accurate and reliable;

  (6) The wheel should be flexible and no abnormal phenomena;

  (7) The pump body should be preheated before trial operation, the temperature should rise evenly, and the temperature rise should not be greater than 50°C per hour; the temperature difference between the surface of the pump body and the process pipeline with the inlet of working medium should not be greater than 40°C;

  (8) The slurry pump is equipped with a connecting device to eliminate the influence of temperature rise, and a bypass connection device should be set to provide cooling water source.
