Generally, the bearings of the centrifugal slurry pump are lubricated and cooled by dilute oil, and the oil is also cooled by a built-in surface cooler. The cooler material is pure copper tube, and the cooling medium is circulating water.When the surface of the cooler pipe wall is fouled, it will cause poor heat transfer and lead to poor cooling effect.Therefore, it is necessary to check whether the cooling water pressure and flow rate of the centrifugal slurry pump are suitable. Generally, the cooling water pressure of the centrifugal slurry pump is 0.05-0.2MPa and the cooling water flow rate is 1-3m/h. Change the scaling cooler in time, turn on the cooling water before the pump starts and adjust the pressure to the specified value, check the bearing temperature rise (35%) regularly, and the temperature must not be greater than 75%.2. During use, the centrifugal slurry pump fails due to packing wear, and the slurry leaks along the shaft seal. The slurry instantly fills the semicircular positioning hole curve of the bracket and the rear pump shell. The slurry discharged from the discharge port can not have time to seal into the oil pool through the water barrier plate, or the cooler welding joint is not welded, and water enters the oil pool, contaminating the working oil in the bracket oil pool, causing damage to the bearing of the centrifugal slurry pump.The reasons for the high current of the centrifugal slurry pump are as follows: Situation A: The relative density and viscosity of the process medium exceed the index.Solution: Check whether the material components so that their viscosity and relative density match the design value, and adjust it by the process operator.Situation B: Electrical failure.Solution: Check the setting value of the circuit breaker heater, check the voltage, the three-phase current should be balanced, and the error should not be greater than 3%.Situation C: When the centrifugal slurry pump is started, the outlet valve is fully opened, and the resistance in the outlet pipeline is too small.Solution: Close the outlet valve, slowly open the outlet valve after the centrifugal slurry pump is started.I believe that after you understand the reasons for the high current of the centrifugal slurry pump, you will be more helpful to us in the future use of the centrifugal slurry pump and will also bring us greater benefits.
