How To Solve The Problem When The Centrifugal Slurry Pump Is Blocked?

The centrifugal slurry pump can transport solid slag particles of different densities and particle sizes. The solid particles transported have a large radius, and the solid-liquid mixed fluid has a high velocity and a large flow rate, so it is favored by the steel, metallurgy, chemical industry, and mining industry. In these industries, the external operating conditions of slurry pumps are relatively poor, and their parts are seriously damaged, especially the wear problems of the pumps are becoming increasingly prominent. Now the wear of the volute and impeller is attracting more and more attention. For example, a slurry pump, which is one of the impurity pumps, wastes a lot of material and energy due to wear of the flow path components. So how to solve the problem when a centrifugal slurry pump is blocked?

　　1. If the volute of the horizontal slurry pump is blocked by solid and hard deposits, measures to eliminate the blockage can be taken.

　　2. If the shaft is misaligned with the feed box, the main reasons are large machining errors and incorrect installation. After installation, attention should be paid to checking whether the installation is correct. If the sealed water ring is severely worn, a new water ring must be replaced. If the sealed water pipe is blocked, the sealed water will not be able to enter the middle of the filler, causing rapid wear of the filler and material leakage. The blocked water pipes should be cleared to keep the sealed water clean.

　　3. If the impeller or water inlet and outlet pipes of the centrifugal slurry pump are blocked, the impeller or pipeline can be cleaned. If the impeller is severely worn, it should be replaced. If there is air leakage at the filler port, the filler should be compressed. If the conveying height is too high and the resistance loss in the pipe is too large, the conveying height or resistance can be reduced.
