18/16T-G Shield Slurry Pump

18/16T-G (CNSME Model SG/400G) Shield Slurry Pump, with a weight about 8.7 tons and a minimum dismantle clearance of 640mm, is often driven by a 1100kW motor. Its common accessories include shaft sleeve, packings, lantern ring, throatbush, frame plate liner insert, impeller and casing etc.

 

The maximum allowable particle size of this shield slurry pump 18/16T-G (SG/400G) is 254mm. It is often used for large particle transportation, and the pump outlet angle can be adjusted in 8 directions. The 18/16T-G (SG/400G) Warman pump is a single pump casing structure (i.e. without lining). The pump casing (bowl), pump cover (door) and impeller are all made of wear-resistant metal. The connection between the bowl and the door adopts a special clamping structure, the pump outlet direction can be rotated arbitrarily, and it is easy to assemble and disassemble.

 

18/16T-G (SG/400G) Pump Introduction:

18/16T-G (SG/400G) has a large flow passage and is suitable for conveying gravel, mud and slurry with large solid particles. The pump bowl, pump door and impeller are all made of wear-resistant high chrome alloy. The connection between the pump bowl and the pump door adopts a special clamping structure, and the pump outlet direction can be rotated arbitrarily, which is convenient for assembly and disassembly.

The inlet of the 18/16T-G (SG/400G) pump is horizontal, and the pump rotates clockwise seen from the transmission direction.

The 18/16T-G (SG/400G) pump is packing sealed, which has a simple structure and is easy to maintain, but sealing water is a must for the packing seal. For working conditions that are not suitable for expeller seals, packing seals can be used. The packing sealed pump should be regularly checked for the sealing water pressure and flowrate, Its always recommended to keep a small amount of clean water flowing along the shaft, and to regularly adjust the packing gland, to check the packing and replace the packing rings at a fixed frequency, and the seal water pressure and seal water flowrate should meet the above (shaft seal inspection) requirements.

The 18/16T-G (SG/400G) pump shaft has a large diameter, good rigidity, short cantilever, and will not bend or vibrate under harsh working conditions. It is recommended to use lithium-based grease 2# or 3# for bearing lubrication.

 

18/16T-G (SG/400G) Precautions:

The axial direction of the pump shaft must be consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow on the pump casing/bowl. The motor must be completely disconnected from the pump during the test run. It is strictly forbidden for the motor to drive the pump shaft to rotate in the opposite direction, otherwise, it will cause damage to the parts.

For pumps with packing seals, packing must be added as required before starting.
