Function of Slurry Pump Bracket

Supporting the pump shaft: One of the main functions of the slurry pump bracket is to support the pump shaft. The pump shaft is a key component that transmits power and drives the rotation of the impeller. During the pump operation, the pump shaft needs a stable support structure to ensure its normal operation. The bracket provides solid support to the pump shaft through parts such as bearing seats to ensure the stable position of the pump shaft and prevent excessive bending or offset during rotation.

Fixed pump body parts: The bracket also plays the role of fixing other parts of the pump body. It is connected to the pump housing, impeller and other components, combining these components into a complete pump body structure. This fixing effect can ensure the accurate relative position between the components and maintain the normal hydraulic performance of the pump. Through the connection structure on the bracket, the position of the impeller can be precisely fixed, ensuring that the gap between the impeller and the pump housing meets the design requirements, so that the slurry can flow smoothly in the pump, and avoid performance degradation or failure caused by loose or displacement of the components.

Carry and transmit axial and radial forces

Axial force bearing and transmission: When the slurry pump is running, the impeller rotates to generate axial force. This is caused by factors such as the pressure difference between the front and rear covers of the impeller and the change in momentum of the medium flowing in the impeller. The bracket carries these axial forces through a bearing system mounted therein and transmits them to the foundation or other support structure of the pump.

Radial force bearing and transmission: At the same time, the pump shaft will also be affected by radial force during rotation. These radial forces mainly come from the mass imbalance of the impeller, the unevenness of the medium flowing in the impeller, and the external forces generated by the connection between the pump and the pipeline, etc. The bearings of the bracket can withstand these radial forces and disperse them to ensure stable rotation of the pump shaft.

Protective bearings and lubrication systems

Bearing Protection: The bracket provides installation position and protective space for the bearing. Bearings are the key supporting components for the rotation of the pump shaft and are susceptible to external environmental factors (such as dust, moisture, etc.) and internal working conditions (such as axial forces, radial forces, high temperatures, etc.). The bracket isolates the bearing from the external environment through sealing structure and protective devices, reducing impurities such as dust and moisture into the inside of the bearing, and preventing premature wear or damage to the bearing.

Lubrication system support: The bracket also cooperates closely with the pump's lubrication system. In some ZJ slurry pumps, the lubrication system is an important part of ensuring the normal operation of the bearing. There is a lubricating oil tank or grease storage space inside the bracket for storing and distributing lubricating oil or grease to ensure that the bearing can be fully lubricated. At the same time, the structural design of the bracket also helps the circulation and heat dissipation of lubricating oil, keeping the bearing within the appropriate operating temperature range.
