4-Inch Froth Pump and Vertical Froth Pump Installation Tutorial

RV froth pump is a device used in fire extinguishing systems, mainly used to transport foam liquid. The following is the installation tutorial of 4RV froth pump:

1. Preparation

Before starting to install the 4RV froth pump, make sure you have prepared the following items:

- 4RV froth pump

- Matching pipes and valves

- Power cord and power switch

- Ground wire

- Foam liquid storage tank

- Foam liquid suction pipe and nozzle

- Foam liquid pressure gauge and pipe filter

- Installation tools and wrenches

2. Determine the installation location

Choose a suitable location to install the 4RV froth pump, usually avoiding direct sunlight, high temperature, humidity and polluted environment. Make sure that the installation location has enough space for daily maintenance and inspection.

3. Laying pipes and connecting valves

Lay the corresponding pipes according to the inlet and outlet directions of the 4RV froth pump. Connect the foam liquid suction pipe and nozzle to the pipe, and ensure that the connection is well sealed. At the same time, connect the power cord, ground wire and control wire to the corresponding terminals.

4. Install the power cord and power switch

Introduce the power cord from the power socket to the vicinity of the froth pump, and connect the power cord to the power terminal of the 4RV froth pump. Install a power switch on the outside of the pump to cut off the power when needed.

5. Install the pressure gauge and pipeline filter

Install the pressure gauge at a position close to the pump outlet to facilitate the observation of the pressure of the foam liquid. At the same time, install a pipeline filter at the inlet of the pump to prevent impurities from entering the pump and damaging the pump seal.

6. Debugging and testing

After completing the above steps, perform the following operations:

- Turn on the power switch and check whether the indicator light of the pump is on normally.

- Open the valve on the pressure gauge and observe whether the pressure gauge pointer is within the normal range. If there is any abnormality, please check whether the pipeline connection and valve setting are correct.

- Start the pump and observe whether the foam liquid is normally delivered to the foam fire extinguishing system. If there is leakage or other abnormal phenomena, please check the sealing performance and installation quality of each component.
