Working principle: The slurry pump under the unblocked liquid is usually installed at the bottom of the liquid pool, and the slurry is transported to the inside of the pump body through the inlet pipe. The rotating impeller in the pump rotates at high speed under the drive of the motor, generating centrifugal force, sucking the slurry into the pump and pressurizing it, and finally draining the slurry out of the pump body to complete the conveying task. This design allows the pump to cope with large particles, high concentrations of slurry media, and has strong anti-blocking capabilities.
Structural features:
Impeller design: The impeller is generally a semi-open type impeller, and stirring blades are provided at the extension of the impeller suction edge. This design allows the slurry to stir and crush large particulate matter that may be blocked while sucking in, allowing it to pass through the pump body smoothly.
Shaft support: The pump shaft at the lower part of the liquid has sufficient stiffness to ensure that it can withstand a large load and impact force during the conveying of slurry.
Sealing method: Use impeller plus filler combined seal or mechanical seal to ensure that there is no leakage during operation of the slurry pump.
Bearing setting: No bearing is installed between the impeller and the pump housing, which reduces faults caused by bearing wear and also reduces the maintenance cost of the pump.
