Slurry delivery: Transport the desulfurizer slurry (such as limestone slurry) from the slurry tank to the desulfurization tower. During the desulfurization process, an appropriate amount of desulfurization agent slurry is required to continuously add to the desulfurization tower to ensure the continuous progress of the desulfurization reaction. The desulfurization pump can accurately control the slurry delivery volume to ensure that the desulfurizer is in full contact with the sulfur dioxide in the flue gas and reacts. At the same time, the gypsum slurry reacted in the desulfurization tower can also be transported to subsequent processing equipment, such as the gypsum dehydration system.
Maintain system circulation: Keep the desulfurization slurry circulating in the desulfurization system. After the desulfurization slurry is desulfurized with the flue gas in the desulfurization tower, it is necessary to extract it from the bottom of the tower through a desulfurization pump and then transport it to the spray layer and other parts in the tower to realize the recycling of the slurry. This can improve the utilization rate of the desulfurization agent, enhance the desulfurization effect, and also help maintain the reaction balance and stable operation in the desulfurization tower.
Adjust the slurry concentration: By controlling the operating parameters of the desulfurization pump, the concentration of the desulfurization slurry can be adjusted. During the desulfurization process, as the reaction progresses, the solid content and composition in the slurry will change, and the slurry concentration needs to be adjusted in time according to actual conditions. When the limestone content in the slurry is too low, the delivery volume of limestone slurry can be increased through a desulfurization pump to improve the desulfurization ability of the slurry; when the concentration of gypsum slurry is too high, the flow rate of the desulfurization pump can be adjusted appropriately, and part of the slurry can be transported to the dehydration system for treatment to reduce the slurry concentration.
Prevent precipitation and scaling: Promote the continuous flow of the slurry and prevent the solid particles in the slurry from precipitating at the bottom of the desulfurization tower or in the pipeline. If the slurry is still, solid particles are prone to deposition, which will not only affect the normal operation of the desulfurization system, but may also lead to problems such as pipeline blockage and equipment damage. The continuous operation of the desulfurization pump can maintain a certain flow rate of the slurry, reduce the possibility of precipitation and scaling, and ensure the smooth and stable operation of the desulfurization system.
